This verse invites us to give from what we love to attain true goodness.
Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:92
This verse links attaining complete goodness (al-birr) with giving from what we love. It is not just about giving, but giving what is dear to us. The verse clarifies that Allah knows everything we give. In our daily lives, this can mean offering our time, energy, or most precious possessions, even if it requires effort. Today, we can choose something we particularly love and share it with someone in need.
Identify something you love (an object, time, a skill) and offer it sincerely to someone today.
