الْيُسْرُ
In this surah, hardship is mentioned together with ease.
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
Quran, Ash-Sharh 94:5
In Surah Ash-Sharh, Allah states that with hardship there is ease. The following verse repeats this teaching exactly. The text therefore holds together the reality of hardship and the reality of ease, without specifying here its form or timing. This wording does not deny what is painful and does not promise its immediate disappearance. On a difficult day, it invites us not to look only at the obstacle. Help already available, one possible step, or time to rest can also be noticed, without presenting them as a certain explanation of the verse.
Identify one current hardship, then spend three minutes noting available help or one small step possible today.
