الْهِدَايَةُ
This verse reminds us that the Quran is a compass for our choices.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ يَهۡدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقۡوَمُ
Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable.
Quran, Al-Isra 17:9
In this passage, Allah states that the Quran guides to what is most upright. The same verse gives good news of a great reward to believers who do righteous deeds. The following verse contrasts this with those who do not believe in the Hereafter. For daily life, this verse invites us to seek direction in the Quran before deciding. It does not replace careful study of context or competent advice when a question is complex. It simply reminds us that Quranic guidance points toward what is most upright.
Today, reread 17:9 and write one sentence about a simple choice you want to align more closely with what is upright.
