التَّقْوَى
When his brothers recognize him, Yusuf links mindfulness of Allah, patience, and the reward of those who do good.
إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصۡبِرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Whoever fears Allah and is patient... Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.

Yusuf reveals his identity to his brothers and recalls Allah's favor. He then states a principle: whoever has taqwa and is patient, Allah does not let the reward of those who do good be lost. The verse specifies neither the form nor the timing of that reward. In daily life, taqwa invites us to remain mindful of Allah, while patience helps us endure over time. The verse joins these two attitudes instead of presenting patience as merely waiting passively.
