الْمُحَاسَبَةُ
This verse reminds us that every action, even a tiny one, has value.
فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.
Quran, Az-Zalzala 99:7
In Surah Az-Zalzala, Allah describes the Day when people will see their deeds. Verse 7 affirms that even a good deed as small as an atom will be shown to its doer. The following verse associates evil of the same weight: nothing is lost. This certainty can encourage us to multiply small attentions: a smile, a quick help, a kind word. No gesture is insignificant in the sight of Allah.
Today, do a good deed that seems tiny, like helping someone carry something or saying a kind word, knowing that Allah sees it.
