الصَّلَاةُ
The verse states that prayer restrains from immorality and wrongdoing.
إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ تَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ
Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing.
Quran, Al-Ankabut 29:45
In this verse, Allah commands the recitation of what was revealed from the Book and the establishment of prayer. It then states that prayer restrains from immorality and wrongdoing. This Qalima synthesis repeats that statement without promising automatic transformation or adding a condition absent from the text. The same verse also states that the remembrance of Allah is greater, without spelling out a detailed causal link between the two statements here. For daily life, we can simply let this teaching question one specific behaviour after prayer.
Today, after a prayer, note one specific behaviour this verse invites you to leave behind.
