التَّوَّاب
Adam receives words from his Lord and repents, and Allah accepts his repentance.
Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:37
After the mistake, Adam is not left alone. He receives words from his Lord and turns to Him. Allah accepts his repentance and names Himself at-Tawwāb, the Accepter of Repentance, and ar-Rahīm, the Merciful. This verse shows that after an error, the path back to Allah is open. Today, we can turn to Him sincerely, without despair.
Take a moment to sincerely repent for a mistake, simply saying: 'My Lord, I turn to You.'
