فَضْل
This verse reminds us that Allah's bounty is immense and He grants it to whom He wills.
وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:105
In this verse, Allah tells us that the disbelievers do not wish that any good be sent down to the believers from their Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills. He is the possessor of great bounty. This means that every good we receive comes from Him, and His generosity is limitless. We may sometimes forget that every blessing, big or small, is a gift from Allah. Recognizing His bounty helps us stay humble and grateful. Today, let us take a moment to thank Allah for a specific blessing we have received.
