مُلْك
This verse reminds us that all of creation belongs to Allah.
أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and [that] you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper?
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:107
The verse affirms that sovereignty over the heavens and the earth belongs entirely to Allah. It combines two realities: His absolute possession of the universe and the absence of any other protector or helper besides Him. In our daily lives, this certainty brings peace to the heart. When we face difficulties, we know that only Allah can truly help us. This encourages us to turn to Him with full trust.
Today, before starting a task, say inwardly: 'Allah is my Protector and my Helper' and carry out that task with confidence.
