This verse defines the path to salvation: turning entirely to Allah while doing good.
Whoever submits his face to Allah while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord; no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:112
This verse responds to those who thought Paradise was reserved for a particular group. It affirms that the essence is to submit to Allah and act with goodness. The reward comes from Him, and those who do so are freed from fear and grief. In our daily lives, we can apply this by seeking to please Allah in our actions, even the simplest ones. Every act done with sincerity and kindness counts.
Today, perform a simple action with the intention to please Allah, such as helping someone or saying a kind word.
