نِعْمَة
This verse reminds the Children of Israel to remember Allah's blessings and His preference.
ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتِيَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلۡتُكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:122
Allah addresses the Children of Israel here, asking them to remember His blessings. He reminds them that He favored them over the peoples of their time. This reminder calls for gratitude towards Allah for His favors. In our lives, we also receive many blessings from Allah. Taking time to acknowledge them helps us stay humble and grateful. It encourages us to use these blessings in a positive way.
