أَمْن
Abraham asks Allah to make his city safe and to provide fruits for those who believe.
وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنٗا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
And when Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a city of security and provide its people with fruits – whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day."
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:126
In this verse, Abraham prays for his city: he asks for security for all, then for sustenance for the believers. He links faith in Allah and the Last Day to this request for material blessings. Today, we can also call upon Allah for our safety and provision, trusting Him and keeping our faith in the Hereafter in mind.
Make a short supplication today: "My Lord, grant us security and provision, and make us among those who believe in You and the Last Day."
