The Messenger who teaches the Book and Wisdom

In his prayer, Abraham asks Allah to send a messenger who will teach the Book and Wisdom.

وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡۖ

and teaches them the Book and wisdom and purifies them

Quran, Al-Baqara 2:129

This verse is part of Abraham's prayer. He asks Allah to send a messenger from his descendants. This messenger will recite the verses, teach the Book and Wisdom, and purify the people. The verse associates teaching the Book and Wisdom with purification.

In our daily lives, we can appreciate the importance of teaching. We can seek to learn and share what we know, asking Allah to grant us wisdom.
