اشْكُرُوا
This verse invites us to remember Allah and be grateful to Him.
وَٱشۡكُرُواْ لِي وَلَا تَكۡفُرُونِ
Be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:152
In this verse, Allah asks two things: to remember Him and to thank Him. In return, He promises to remember us. The previous verse reminds that Allah sent a messenger to teach us the Book and wisdom. The following verse encourages seeking help through patience and prayer. Gratitude is not just a feeling. It shows in simple words and actions: saying 'Alhamdulillah' for blessings, using our abilities positively, and avoiding using them to disobey. Each day offers chances to recognize Allah's gifts.
Today, say 'Alhamdulillah' at least three times sincerely, thinking of a specific blessing.
