الصَّبْرِ
This verse teaches us a key to navigating difficulties.
ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:153
Allah addresses the believers and asks them to seek help through patience and prayer. He does not specify how these acts help, but He promises to be with those who are patient. This divine presence is an immense support. In our daily lives, when facing a difficulty, we can resort to patience and prayer. These are resources accessible to everyone, at any time.
Today, as soon as a difficulty arises, say inwardly: 'I seek help from Allah through patience and prayer,' then perform a short prayer.
