اَلتَّوْبَة
This verse shows how Allah welcomes those who return to Him.
Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:160
The verse speaks about people who concealed the truth. But a door remains open: sincere repentance. It is not enough to say 'I regret'. One must also correct one's behavior and clarify what was hidden. Allah then promises to accept this return. In our daily lives, we may make mistakes or hurt someone. The path of repentance is simple: acknowledge, repair, and if possible, restore the truth. Allah is the One who constantly accepts repentance and He is Merciful.
Today, identify a past mistake and take a concrete step to repair it: apologize, correct information, or change a behavior.
