This verse reassures: Allah is near and answers the one who calls upon Him.
When My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be rightly guided.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:186
Allah affirms His closeness and promises to respond to supplication. In return, He asks for obedience and faith. This verse brings together the divine promise and the expected attitude of the believer. In daily life, this closeness encourages turning to Him with confidence. Obedience and faith are not prerequisites but responses to His call.
Today, take a moment to supplicate Allah sincerely, then perform a simple act of obedience, like praying on time.
