ذِكْرُ اللهِ
This verse invites us to invoke Allah after the rites of pilgrimage, in gratitude for His guidance.
فَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ عِندَ ٱلۡمَشۡعَرِ ٱلۡحَرَامِۖ وَٱذۡكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَىٰكُمۡ
Remember Allah at al-Mash'ar al-Haram, and remember Him as He has guided you.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:198
In this verse, Allah reminds pilgrims to remember Him after leaving 'Arafat, at a sacred place. He asks them to remember Him as He has guided them, for they were previously astray. This shows the importance of acknowledging divine guidance. In our daily lives, after every significant action, we can take a moment to thank Allah and invoke Him. This strengthens our connection with Him and reminds us that all success comes from Him.
Today, after completing a task, take a minute to say 'Alhamdulillah' and ask Allah to guide your next steps.
