نَصِيب
This verse follows the prayer of those who ask for good in this world and the Hereafter.
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ نَصِيبٞ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْۚ وَٱللَّهُ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:202
The verse brings together two ideas: each person receives a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in reckoning. It is not a promise of a specific reward, but an assurance that our efforts are not lost. In daily life, we may feel discouraged when our good deeds seem unnoticed. This verse reminds us that nothing escapes Allah and that our share awaits us, even if we do not see it yet.
Today, do a good deed in secret, like helping someone or making an extra prayer, and remember that your share is preserved.
