ٱلسِّلۡم
This verse calls believers to embrace Islam completely.
ٱدۡخُلُواْ فِي ٱلسِّلۡمِ كَآفَّةٗ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
Enter into Islam completely and do not follow the footsteps of Satan.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:208
Allah asks us to enter as-silm, meaning submission and peace, completely. This means accepting Islam in all aspects of life, not just partially. The verse associates this entry with a warning against following Satan's footsteps, for he is a clear enemy. In our daily lives, this invites us to check our choices: our words, actions, and intentions. Are we consistent with our faith? Sometimes we follow our desires without thinking. This verse reminds us to return to the essence: sincere submission to Allah.
Today, choose one daily action (like a word or a decision) and ask yourself if it aligns with your submission to Allah. If not, correct it.
