خَيۡرٞ
This verse teaches us that our perception is limited, but Allah knows everything.
وَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ
while it is good for you
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:216
In this verse, Allah mentions that fighting, although unpleasant, may be good for us. He teaches us that we may hate a thing that is actually beneficial, and love a thing that is harmful. This shows that our judgment is limited. In our daily lives, we encounter difficult situations that we dislike. This verse invites us to trust Allah and not to judge too quickly. What seems bad may be a hidden good.
Today, when facing a difficulty, remember this verse and say: 'Perhaps this is good for me, for Allah knows and I do not know.'
