الذِّكْر
This verse teaches us to invoke Allah in every situation, even in times of danger.
فَإِذَآ أَمِنتُمۡ فَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَمَا عَلَّمَكُم مَّا لَمۡ تَكُونُواْ تَعۡلَمُونَ
But when you are secure, then remember Allah [in prayer], as He has taught you that which you did not [previously] know.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:239
The previous verse asks to maintain the prayers carefully. Here, Allah specifies that if you fear danger, you may pray on foot or riding. Once safety returns, you must resume the dhikr, that is, invocation and normal prayer. This word shows that the remembrance of Allah never leaves us: it adapts to our circumstances. In daily life, even when busy or worried, one can say a simple phrase like 'SubhanAllah' or 'Alhamdulillah'.
Today, whenever you feel stressed or rushed, take a minute to say 'SubhanAllah' three times and resume your activity with confidence.
