القَرْض الحَسَن
This verse invites us to give willingly, with the promise of generous multiplication.
مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يُقۡرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥٓ أَضۡعَافٗا كَثِيرَةٗۚ
Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:245
The verse compares generosity to a loan given to Allah. Giving from one's wealth is like lending to the One who lacks nothing. The promise is clear: this loan will be returned multiplied. The verse also reminds us that Allah withholds and grants abundance, and to Him we will return. In our daily lives, we can apply this by giving without expecting immediate return. Every act of sharing, even modest, can be seen as a sincere loan to Allah, who promises to multiply it.
Today, give a small amount or an item to someone in need, without expecting anything in return.
