This verse describes the greatness of Allah, who watches over all His creation.
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:255
This verse affirms that Allah is unique, ever-living, and self-sufficient. He never sleeps and nothing escapes Him. Everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to Him. When we realize this greatness, we understand that our worries are small before Him. We can entrust our difficulties to Him, for nothing is too great for Him.
Today, before starting a task, remind yourself: 'Allah is the Ever-Living, the Self-Sufficient, and He knows everything.'
