Allah, Our Ally Toward the Light

This verse reminds us that Allah is the protector of those who believe.

ٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يُخۡرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ

Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light.

Quran, Al-Baqara 2:257

The verse states that Allah is the waliyy, meaning the ally and protector of believers. He brings them out from darknesses into light. The previous verse speaks of grasping the most trustworthy handhold by believing in Allah. Here, Allah acts concretely to guide believers.

In our lives, we go through moments of darkness, such as doubt or difficulty. This verse encourages us to turn to Allah, who leads us to clarity and peace. Today, we can entrust to Him a situation that seems confusing.
