وَعْدُ اللَّهِ
This verse contrasts Satan's threats with Allah's generous promise.
وَٱللَّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغۡفِرَةٗ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلٗاۗ
“while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty”
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:268
In this verse, Satan instills fear of poverty and urges indecent acts. In contrast, Allah promises forgiveness and bounty. This promise is immense, for Allah encompasses all and knows all. When we hesitate to give or do good out of fear of lack, we listen to Satan. Trusting Allah's promise means choosing serenity over anxiety.
Today, identify a money-related fear and remind yourself that Allah's promise is greater. Write that fear on a piece of paper, then tear it up as a sign of trust.
