أجر
This verse announces a precious reward for those who combine faith and actions.
لَهُمۡ أَجۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ وَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ
They will have their reward with their Lord: no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
Quran, Al-Baqara 2:277
This verse brings together faith, good deeds, prayer, and zakah. It shows that these lead to a reward with Allah. Those who do them will have no fear or sadness. In our daily lives, we can cultivate this trust in Allah. By performing our prayers and giving zakah, we draw closer to this promise of serenity.
Today, do one simple good deed, like praying on time or giving a small donation, while thinking of Allah's reward.
