This verse teaches us that God sent down the Book with truth.
نَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ مُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ
He has sent down upon you the Book in truth, confirming what was before it.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:3
In this verse, God addresses the Prophet ﷺ and reminds him that the Book (the Quran) was sent down with truth. This Book confirms the previous scriptures, such as the Torah and the Gospel, which are also revelations from God. Thus, the Quran is part of the continuity of divine messages. For us, this means that the Quran is a source of truth and guidance. We can trust it and study it to better understand our faith. Today, we can take a moment to reflect on the truth of the Quran and its importance in our lives.
Take three minutes to read the translation of verse 3:3 and meditate on the fact that the Quran is the truth.
