أَحَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ
This verse reveals how to attain Allah's love and forgiveness.
يُحۡبِبۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ ذُنُوبَكُمۡۚ
Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:31
In this verse, Allah teaches the Prophet ﷺ what to say to those who claim to love Allah: that they should follow him. Following the Prophet ﷺ means putting his teachings and example into practice. Allah then promises two things: His love and the forgiveness of sins. The verse ends by reminding that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Today, we can follow the Prophet ﷺ in our daily actions: his way of greeting, eating, praying. Every step in this direction brings us closer to Allah's love and forgiveness.
Choose one act of the Sunnah (e.g., saying 'Bismillah' before eating) and do it consciously today.
