أَجْر
This verse announces good news to those who believe and do good deeds.
فَيُوَفِّيهِمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ
He will give them their rewards in full.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:57
In this verse, Allah promises to give in full the reward (ajr) to those who believe and do righteous deeds. The previous verse mentions the punishment of the disbelievers, and this one contrasts with Allah's generosity towards the believers. It is not a simple retribution, but a fullness, as if none of their efforts were lost. This promise encourages perseverance in doing good, even when results are not visible. Every good action counts and will be fully rewarded by Allah. This gives hope and motivation in daily life.
Today, do a good deed while thinking that its reward comes from Allah, and write it down in a notebook to remember this promise.
