إِضْلَال
This verse reassures us: those who seek to mislead us only harm themselves.
وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:69
In this verse, Allah mentions a faction of the People of the Scripture who wished to mislead the believers. But He clarifies that their attempt only harms themselves, without them realizing it. This shows that the faith of believers is protected by Allah, and the plans of enemies backfire on them. Today, we may encounter people or ideas that try to weaken our faith. This verse invites us to remain confident and firm, without fearing their schemes. Our role is to hold fast to our faith and not be disturbed.
Today, if you hear a word that tries to shake your faith, remember this verse and recite it. Then, do an action that strengthens your trust in Allah, such as reading Quran or making supplication.
