التوبة
This verse teaches us that sincere repentance and reform lead to Allah's forgiveness.
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصۡلَحُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ
Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:89
This verse follows a severe warning. It immediately brings a door of hope. Allah makes an exception for those who repent after their fault and improve themselves. Repentance is not just regret: it is accompanied by concrete reform. Allah then presents Himself as Forgiving and Merciful. In our lives, we may make mistakes. This verse invites us not to remain in guilt. We can turn back to Allah, correct our behavior, and move forward. Allah's forgiveness is immense for those who turn to Him sincerely.
Today, identify a past mistake, make a sincere repentance, and take a concrete step to improve.
