أمر بالمعروف
This verse calls the community of believers to form a group that invites to good.
وَيَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ
who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong
Quran, Al-Imran 3:104
The verse describes an ideal community: it calls to good, enjoins what is right, and forbids what is wrong. These three actions are linked: inviting to good, encouraging what is just, and discouraging what is evil. The verse promises success to those who do so. In our daily lives, we can participate in this collective effort. It is not about judging others, but about supporting what is good and refusing what is harmful, each according to their means.
Today, encourage someone around you to do a positive action, or gently express your disagreement with a harmful action.
