أَمْرٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
This verse describes the qualities of sincere believers among the People of the Book.
They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:114
The verse brings together three attitudes: believing in Allah and the Last Day, encouraging good and discouraging evil, and hastening to good deeds. These qualities are presented together as a coherent whole. In our daily lives, we can apply this by supporting what is good around us and avoiding what is harmful, while multiplying acts of goodness without delay.
Today, do a good deed quickly, like helping someone or saying a kind word, and encourage another person to do the same.
