كَظْم الغَيْظ
This verse describes the qualities of the righteous who seek forgiveness and Paradise.
who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good
Quran, Al-Imran 3:134
In this verse, Allah associates controlling anger with pardoning others. It is not about denying anger, but about containing it and choosing not to harm. The verse also mentions spending in ease and hardship, showing constant generosity. In daily life, we can practice holding back a hurtful word or letting an offense pass. Forgiving does not mean accepting injustice, but freeing one's heart from resentment. Allah loves those who do good.
Today, if someone upsets you, take a deep breath, hold your response, and forgive inwardly.
