صَبْر
This verse reminds us that entering Paradise requires sincere effort and patience.
وَلَمَّا يَعۡلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَيَعۡلَمَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast
Quran, Al-Imran 3:142
Allah asks the believers: do they think they will enter Paradise without their struggle and patience being tested? The previous verse shows that Allah purifies the believers through trials. Here, He associates struggle and patience as conditions for the reward. In our daily lives, every difficulty is an opportunity to show our perseverance. Patience is not passive: it accompanies effort. Today, choose a difficulty and face it with constancy.
Identify a current difficulty and decide to face it with patience and effort, remembering that this is how Allah distinguishes the believers.
