صَبْر
This verse shows us how the prophets and their companions faced trials with remarkable constancy.
فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَآ أَصَابَهُمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا ٱسۡتَكَانُواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
They never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:146
The verse mentions many prophets who fought with numerous disciples. In the face of hardships encountered in Allah's cause, they showed neither weakness, nor surrender, nor submission. Their attitude is a model of active patience. In our daily lives, we can draw inspiration from this firmness. When facing an obstacle, we can choose to remain constant, without losing heart. Allah loves those who persevere with trust in Him.
Today, identify a difficulty you are facing and decide not to give up. Take one small step to overcome it, while trusting in Allah.
