This verse teaches us that hardships can teach us not to cling to losses.
So Allah repaid you with distress upon distress so you would not grieve for that which had escaped you or for that which had befallen you.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:153
In this verse, Allah reminds of a moment when the believers fled, then He sent them a trial. This trial helped them not to cling to material losses and to persevere. Today, when we lose something or face difficulties, we can remember that it is part of a greater plan. Patience helps us get through these moments without being overwhelmed by grief.
Today, if you experience a loss or difficulty, take a minute to remind yourself that this trial can teach you to let go and persevere.
