After distress, Allah sends down serenity and reminds us that all matters belong to Him.
Then after distress, He sent down upon you security [in the form of] drowsiness, overcoming a faction of you... Say, "Indeed, the matter belongs completely to Allah."
Quran, Al-Imran 3:154
This verse describes a moment of great fear. Allah then calms a group of believers with peaceful drowsiness. Others remain anxious and doubt, thinking they could have changed the outcome. The answer is clear: all matters belong to Allah. When anxiety grips us, we can turn to Him. Entrusting our worries to Him means recognizing that He controls everything. This does not remove effort, but it soothes the heart.
Today, take a minute to entrust a specific worry to Allah, saying: "I rely on You."
