رَحْمَة
This verse teaches us that Allah's forgiveness and mercy are better than anything we can accumulate in this world.
لَمَغۡفِرَةٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَحۡمَةٌ خَيۡرٞ مِّمَّا يَجۡمَعُونَ
forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate
Quran, Al-Imran 3:157
In this verse, Allah speaks of those who die or are killed in His path. He promises them His forgiveness and mercy. These divine gifts are better than all the wealth people gather in this worldly life. Thus, even in the face of death, the believer's hope rests on Allah's goodness. We can apply this by putting material possessions into perspective and seeking above all Allah's pleasure.
Today, take a moment to thank Allah for His mercy and perform a selfless good deed, like helping someone without expecting anything in return.
