حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ
In the face of fear, believers place their trust in Allah.
حَسۡبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡوَكِيلُ
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:173
In this verse, people warn the believers that their enemies have gathered against them and advise them to fear them. Far from frightening them, this news increases their faith. They respond with a simple and powerful statement: "Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs." This saying expresses complete trust in Allah. It does not deny the danger, but it places it in a larger perspective: Allah is the best protector. In our lives, when a situation seems threatening, we can remember that trust in Allah calms the heart and strengthens faith.
Today, if a fear crosses your mind, say inwardly "Allah is sufficient for us" and resume your activity with serenity.
