خَوْف
This verse teaches us not to let fear of others dominate us.
فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمۡ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:175
In this verse, Allah informs us that it is Satan who makes us fear his allies. He commands us not to fear them, but to fear Him alone. This fear of Allah is a sign of faith. In our lives, we may be intimidated by people or situations. This verse invites us to refocus our fear on Allah and to trust Him, for He alone deserves our reverent fear.
Today, identify a fear that holds you back and say to yourself: 'I fear only Allah.' Then take a small action despite that fear.
