إِيمَان
This verse invites us to believe in Allah and His messengers, and to practice piety.
فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦۚ وَإِن تُؤۡمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَلَكُمۡ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ
So believe in Allah and His messengers. And if you believe and fear Him, then for you is a great reward.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:179
Allah asks us to believe in Him and His messengers. He does not reveal the unseen to us, but He chooses from His messengers whom He wills. Faith in Allah and His messengers is therefore essential. This verse associates faith and piety with a great reward. Piety means acting with awareness of Allah in our daily lives. By believing sincerely and living righteously, we can hope for that reward.
Today, take a moment to think of a concrete act of piety you can do, such as an extra prayer or a kind gesture toward someone.
