عَمَل
Allah responds to those who call upon Him by promising never to let the good they do be lost.
لَآ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَٰمِلٖ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ
"Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female."
Quran, Al-Imran 3:195
This verse answers the believers who have just asked Allah to fulfill His promises. Allah assures them that every useful deed, small or great, is taken into account. Men and women are equal in this promise: they are "one another," united in the same humanity and faith. This assurance invites us to act sincerely, even when no one sees us. Today, a modest gesture can have value: a kind word, discreet help, a job well done. Allah lets nothing be lost.
Do one good deed today discreetly, without seeking attention, remembering that Allah sees it.
