This verse contrasts the fleeting enjoyment of this world with the lasting reward of the righteous.
But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allah. And that which is with Allah is best for the righteous.
Quran, Al-Imran 3:198
The previous verse mentions a brief enjoyment followed by Hell. Here, Allah promises those who fear Him gardens with flowing rivers and an eternal dwelling. This promise comes from Allah Himself. The verse states that what is with Allah is best for the righteous. This invites us to prefer what lasts over what passes, and to place our hope in Him.
Today, take a minute to thank Allah and ask Him to grant you His fear and His reward.
