خُشُوع
This verse describes believers who combine sincere faith with humility before Allah.
خَٰشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشۡتَرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلًا
humbly submissive to Allah, they do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small price
Quran, Al-Imran 3:199
The verse mentions People of the Scripture who believe in Allah and all His revelations. They are humble (khushu') and do not trade Allah's verses for worldly gain. This attitude combines faith, humility, and integrity. In our daily lives, we might be tempted to distort or downplay a teaching to please or profit. Keeping khushu' means staying sincere and not using religion for personal interest.
Today, before sharing a verse or teaching, ask yourself if you are conveying it with humility and without seeking any advantage.
