This verse teaches us to manage wealth wisely and kindly.
And do not give the weak-minded your property, which Allah has made a means of sustenance for you, but provide for them with it and clothe them and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.
Quran, An-Nisa 4:5
Allah asks us not to entrust our wealth to those who cannot manage it. This wealth is a support for life. We must protect it and use it to provide for the needs of those concerned, giving them food and clothing. This verse invites us to combine responsibility and respect. Even if someone is incapable of managing wealth, they deserve to be treated with dignity. We can apply this by looking after our family's resources and speaking kindly to those who depend on us.
Today, examine one of your resources (time, money, energy) and decide to use it to help someone in your family or circle, speaking to them gently.
