ضَعْف
This verse reminds us that our weakness is known to Allah, and He adapts His requirements accordingly.
يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمۡۚ وَخُلِقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفٗا
Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.
Quran, An-Nisa 4:28
In this verse, Allah announces that He wants to lighten our burdens. The reason is clear: the human being was created weak. This weakness is not a flaw to hide, but a reality that our Creator knows perfectly. Practically, this means that religious obligations take our limits into account. When difficulty arises, Islam offers facilities. We can therefore live our faith without exhaustion, in full confidence.
Today, if a religious task seems difficult, seek a permissible facility (like shortening the prayer while traveling) and perform it with serenity.
