تَسْلِيم
This verse teaches us what true faith really means.
وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمٗا
and submit in full, willing submission
Quran, An-Nisa 4:65
Allah swears by Himself that faith is not complete until we make the Prophet ﷺ the judge of our disputes, without feeling any discomfort, and we submit fully to his decision. The previous verse reminds us that messengers are sent to be obeyed. Here, submission must be total, from the heart and in actions. In our daily lives, this means accepting the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah even when they contradict our desires. It requires trust in Allah and His messenger.
Today, choose a situation where you hesitate to follow a teaching and decide to submit to it, calming your heart.
