رَفِيق
This verse announces a magnificent companionship for those who obey Allah and His Messenger.
وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَۚ وَحَسُنَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ رَفِيقٗا
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.

The verse brings together four groups: the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. It promises those who obey Allah and the Messenger to be in their company. This companionship is presented as excellent, without specifying the place or time. In our daily lives, we can ask ourselves: what people do we spend time with? This verse invites us to appreciate the company of upright people and to hope to be reunited with them. Today, we can take a concrete step toward this hope.
